So…when should newborn photos be taken?
If you’re in Bournemouth and pregnant, I can take bookings any time after your 12 week scan. We can book a session into my diary for around 10 days after your due date with a £50 deposit. You then just have to contact me when baby arrives and we will organise your session.
After week three you’ll notice that your baby is awake for longer stretches, so it’s nice to get your session in before week three for those super fresh details and curled up sleepy photos. It will also mean your session is quicker if baby is more sleepy and settled.
However, it’s still possible to get photos after this time! My sessions are very relaxed and led by baby, and with my natural style of photography we can capture those new details over the first few months. I always say to expect a newborn session to last at least two hours so there is plenty of time for feeds, nappy changes and cuddles as baby needs.
All my sessions take place in your home in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and surrounding areas. I’ll bring everything to you so you can stay cosy at home in your newborn bubble.
