I can’t share these photos without explaining a little about the session. This is a beautiful Ukrainian family that have been living with a host family near me for the last few months. They had to leave their home just two weeks after this little one was born, and flee to safety in the UK, leaving behind the boy’s Dad and grandparents, their whole world. It is unimaginable how hard that must have been.
I take photos of babies and families for a living and I do it because I feel they have real value for us to be able to treasure those moments of our babies and children as they grow and change so fast. My heart hurts for this family and so many like theirs, they have been kept apart from those that they love. My hope is that these photos can bring them a little closer and bring a bit of joy to their family in Ukraine.
