I’m being brave and sticking my face on here again. Because, like you, I also feel a little awkward having my photo taken, who doesn’t!? But when you find the right photographer, and you relax, then the results are there to see.
My photography style has been described as natural, honest and storytelling. I give gentle direction into the best light, and gently pose you, allowing those genuine moments of connection to unfold naturally.
Being in the photos with your children is a gift to them, to see your presence in their childhood, for them as much as you, to be able to look back on when they are grown up.
We always think there will be a better time to have our picture done, when we’ve lost weight/look less tired/had our hair done… but our children don’t see us with those judgements, and the truth is… if we put things off too much, we end up missing out, because we may, ok, look less tired… but our little baby is just not as ‘little’ any more… and those pictures we wanted are lost.
