Hopefully I won’t ever need to use it, but ever since I’ve had my studio in Southbourne, I’ve wanted to do a First Aid Course so that I know I’m doing all I can to take care of the lovely families that come to me.
I met Lindsay from Daisy First Aid Fordingbridge when I photographed the Bumps Babies and Brunch event and so got in touched with her and booked onto her course.
I had such an informative and valuable morning with Lindsay doing a two hour duty of care first aid course. She is so lovely and friendly and made us all feel very relaxed. Her training was engaging, clear, and incredibly helpful. We covered CPR & Defibrillators, recovery positions, choking, head injuries, and seizures. We learnt the important differences of first aid for infants and children vs adults. She also gave us information on Sepsis and Meningitis. I now feel so much more confident in my ability to handle a first aid situation that may arise and I purchased a first aid kit to keep in my studio in Southbourne.
There were no horror stories or awkward role plays! I’d highly recommend Lindsay to anyone looking to gain essential first aid skills—it was an absolutely fantastic session. She offers classes for new or expecting parents, and will even come and take a class in your home.
