One of the things we all struggle with when we become parents is sleep… or the lack of it!
When I had my daughter I really hadn’t understood how complex baby sleep is… I think it’s totally normal when your baby is a newborn to have to adjust and figure out what your baby needs and you gradually learn their sleep cues and eventually routine does start to creep in. I remember around 12 weeks things seemed a little easier when we knew what to expect from her nap times and feeds. But! Around 6 months I was so utterly exhausted by our lack of sleep at night time and the fact that she just seemed to always want to either feed or be cuddled to sleep… I needed a bit of a break… and started googling and trying to figure things out. It was a minefield of conflicting advice online!!
